In 2012, The City of Santa Monica added me to their team of Freelance Reporters for Santa Monica Update. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working Radio, TV Production, & New Media, So mixing in an experience like this was a true blessing. I'll be shopping the footage to some of the Local Networks here on The Eastcoast, ya never know, RJ Andrews The Reporter??

The Wedding Singer, I mean Wedding HOST, LOL

Over the years, Media & TV has acted as the number one driving force of who I am as a person. However, when I moved to NYC as much as those goals sit on the top of the list, making and building a life for myself definitely takes the priority. It was pretty shocking and very appreciative when I was asked to Host Jamal & Angel's Wedding @ an Art Gallery in Chelsea.

I originally met the couple while working as a Doorman for their building. It's funny how random conversations and what you put in the universe can truly dictate the story of your life. I never knew that waking up one morning to work as a Concierge/Doorman could lead to an incredibly inspiring experience.

I hosted and attended the Wedding Reception w two of my closest NYC buddies, Veronica & Will in which we all had a wonderful time. My big take away was the Re-Emerging satisfaction I had in my skills as Host, Entertainer, etc etc. The Couple had been extremely sweet to me and also taught me a thing or two about life. As I said, it's pretty interesting where life could lead you when you allow it to. Those words are words that even I struggle with on occasion. Nevertheless I was honored to have been asked to Host and collaborate with the Beautiful Couple.

Singing In The Streets - NYC

My California Trip was Nice, Warm, and Sweet, but there is nothing like the Creative Energies that embody the streets of New York. The Weather is still pretty awful which is limiting, BUT.... that's allowing for some great time to work artistically. Yes, I still work as many gigs as I possibly can to "Make It Happen" but, I also have arched in some time to go thru footage and edit together some interesting Web Videos.

Back in November, around the week of Thanksgiving, my buddy Mike & I had made plans to meet in the Subway Station, Keyboard in hand and basically, GO FOR IT. Mike has done an impressive job thus far and I was happy to witness aka Flip Cam what I had seen, below is the video of Marvelous Mike singing, "You Wanted A Man" Live in Washington Sq Park.

Visiting California, LA Baby!!

I originally moved away from the Awesome'ness of SoCal back in July, spending all my Holidays and such on the EastCoast. Such a cool experience to see things on another level, but now.... I am back in California, connecting w Family, Collaborating w Friends and basically, Enjoying The LA Winter Weather. Meet The Musician : Elle Varner in SoHo

When I first moved to New York it was simply one of those decisions in which "I KNEW" the exact direction/stage for my life. Sometimes you can't explain it, & especially in the search for The Dream, the location and elements that embody your home-base are certainly attributes that make you the person that you are and/or the person that you are becoming.

I had an instant attraction to the story of R&B songstress ELLE VARNER for a number of reason. Not only was she also a West Coast import into The East, But.... she also was someone who developed and cultivated her career here in The City. From her NYU Schooling to Random Discovery in the Coat-Check, I was quickly drawn to this Upcoming Artist!! Sitting at the Top of 2013, we now have visions of a Fresh Start. When I was leaving LA originally, my Fitness Trainer, Fallon Mercedes had explained to me the importance of connecting into a spiritual place. Living away from your friends and family can certainly be a great experience but without the right connection, the challenges might not be too far away. Luckily, I was able to connect w Hillsong NYC a referral from Oasis Church back home. EastCoast Winter

Well.... I've grown up on the West Coast, in which my winters have always encountered a SoCal type of vibe. Winter 2012 has been a different experience all together. And although I've never experienced these types of temperatures on such a consistent basis, or even much snow for that matter, I consider myself blessed as I was fortunate to be in a very safe environment during Hurricane Sandy. The Thoughts I am left with is one more of Heroism and a City Coming Together rather than the chaos that is sometimes seen on the news. The Winter season in NYC has not been an easy one considering.... but what we've seen in the streets of New York during and after a devastation such as Sandy will forever be a prideful moment.

A few years back while in Los Angeles, during the early stages of Online Broadcasting my good friend Katrina Kitsis & I worked on a few programs in which we conducted interviews and produced Live Performances on a few different internet outlets. Ranging from MusicPlusTV to Vlaze to TheStream, enjoying time w Musicians, Actors, and Creative Types became a weekly bonding experience for the two of us. Hit The Floor - The NYC Dream

My dreams to live in NYC and work to build a life in The City That Never Sleeps has been a tough one. Over the years, I've heard several friends also decide that they wanted to make the east coast leap, but wanted to be more financially stable before the jump. I totally agree.... however, sometimes you gotta take the Risk if you want the Reward. With that said, it makes me so so so proud to have gotten here (Harlem) and start from the ground up, or should I say The Floor Up. Wherever I go on my journey and whatever happens next, I will always be proud to know that sleeping on the floor in search of my dreams was something I did with a huge smile on my face. From Dog Bites to The Good Life.... Lets get Random !!!!!

Feeling Healthy and Feeling Inspired are things that each of us yearn for and/or struggle with. In the mid 2000's, primarily 05' & 06' acquiring the proper motivation to Feel Rich was something that seemed like a long shot. Working in Vegas Radio and working to achieve other career goals left me in a state of mind that pushed healthy eating and healthy living to the bottom of the list. At one point, my 315 pound persona fit in perfectly w the lovable On-Air Radio Personality, however.. it didn't fit in well with my personal well being.
